Friends of the Cortland Free Library

Who We Are
The Friends of the Cortland Free Library believe that the library is the center of a strong community.  We are a group of dedicated volunteers who give of their time and talent to assist and promote the mission of the Cortland Free Library. 

Our Mission
"The Friends of the Cortland Free Library will support the library through fundraising and supporting library programs.  The Friends will also promote understanding and appreciation for the Cortland Free Library."

What We Do
In order to fulfill our mission, the Friends of the Cortland Free Library:
1.  Fundraise for Library programming and special items through membership dues, donations, and activities such as bake sales and used book sales; 
2.  Form close relationships between the library and the community members it serves through events that showcase and promote the services the Library offers. 
3.  Volunteer for Library and Friends events.
