Holiday Lego Creations Contest
The Month of December
Your Lego creation must be Winter Holiday themed (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, etc.), 8 inches tall or smaller and must be able to fit on an 8×10 piece of paper. You can ONLY use Legos, tape, and one piece of cardboard to build your creation on. One creation per person. You can’t use a kit, but you can get inspiration from kits and books. Open for ages 5-18 with prizes for different age groups. You can drop off your creations Dec. 1-6. Display and voting will take place Dec. 8-20. Votes will be tallied and winners announced on Dec. 22 at 7 pm before our Books Before Bed storytime. Creations will be on display until Dec. 31.

This month we will be showing the movie The Outsiders. All teens ages 13-18 are welcome to attend. Teens who would like to register for the book club piece of this program can contact Youth Services at 753-1043 or email@example.com. The first 12 registrants will receive a copy of the book The Outsiders by S. E. Hilton.
