Art Gallery: Emily Gibbons

Emily’s show, Finding Eiru explores Irish folklore, language, landscape and history.  Eiru was the goddess of Ireland in Irish mythology.  The show includes portraits of Irish women in history, along with abstracted paintings inspired by maps, landscape, stories, a prate queen ancestor, stone circles, selkies and even the door of a very messy Dublin born painter.  Stop by and check i t out during regular library hours all month long!
