Mondays at 1 p.m. A program for emergent readers ages 4 – 7 yrs. & their caregivers. The program promotes early literacy skills with letter sounds & recognition, activities & stories. Each week children will receive a free book & parents will have learned activities to reinforce reading skills at home. Registration is limited & is required.

Come join our LEGO club & have some building fun! Each session we’ll have a challenge & a game. LEGO Club meets on the first & third Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. Registration is required each month. Please sign up for one day only. Open to ages 4 – 12 yrs.

An all ages chess club for beginners and experts. Meets every Thursday at 5 p.m. Beginners will get a lesson on the basics of chess and experts can meet and play.
Supplies available on a first come first serve basis on the First Friday of the month for ages 3-5 years old.
A bag with supplies and directions provided to make a greeting card at home will be available to pick up on a first come first serve basis beginning on the first Friday of the month. Open to ages 12 and up.
"Who Let the Dogs Out? Portraits of our Best Friends" This themed community exhibit sponsored by the Groton Art Class showcases the work by students and colleagues of class instructor David Beale. The show will be in the library's art gallery through the month of December.
