Time Travel

Cortland County Historical Society Presents: Time Travel: Features read alouds & activities to engage young readers in a greater understanding & appreciation of local & American history. Geared to ages 4 – 8 but all families are welcome. Registration is required. This month, Fired Up, a program about fire trucks and firefighting and their history in Cortland County. We’ll read the books Firehouse! by Mark Teague and Fire Engine No. 9 by Mike Austin. Special guest, Derek Reynolds, a firefighter from the Cortland City Fire Department will bring some equipment from the station and talk about his work.
