Books are just the beginning!
Registration is required. A program for emergent readers ages 4 – 7 yrs. & their caregivers. The program promotes early literacy skills with letter sounds & recognition, activities & stories. Each week children will receive a free book & parents will have learned activities to reinforce reading skills at home.
Why work alone when you can work with others? Knitting, crocheting, sewing - bring whatever it is you are working on! Open to all skill levels (ages 12 and up). The group meets every Monday evening at 6 p.m.
Peers from Family & Children’s Counseling Services all have some form of lived experience primarily with substance use and knowledge of what services are available. We will meet to make a different craft each month. Meets monthly on the last Tuesday at 4 p.m. Open to ages 6 – 12 yrs. Registration is limited & is required each month.
Monthly Board meeting
The Really Free Market is a free bi-monthly distribution of food, personal care items, and household supplies. You can take as much as you want and we will never ask you to “prove” your need. Stories, songs, and activities with a different theme each week. All ages are welcome but this program is designed for children ages 3-5 yrs.
An all ages chess club for beginners and experts. Meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. Beginners will get a lesson on the basics of chess and experts can meet and play.
Supplies available on a first come first serve basis on the first Friday of each month for ages 3 – 5 yrs.
