Join the Finger Lakes Toy Library for playtime at the Cortland Free Library! Stay and play after preschool story time! The Finger Lakes Toy Library will be bringing a selection of toys geared towards ages 0-5 to play with.
Play some games & be a part of planning future teen programs! Open to ages 12 -18 yrs. Registration is required.
An all ages chess club for beginners and experts. Meets every Thursday at 5 p.m. Beginners will get a lesson on the basics of chess and experts can meet and play.
Supplies available on a first come first serve basis on the First Friday of the month for ages 3-5 years old.
A bag with supplies and directions provided to make a greeting card at home will be available to pick up on a first come first serve basis beginning on the first Friday of the month. Open to ages 12 and up.
STOMP into Spring with dinosaur stories, songs, snacks, craft and activities! Program geared to ages 3-7 yrs. but all families are welcome. Registration is required.
Mondays at 1 p.m. A program for emergent readers ages 4 – 7 yrs. & their caregivers. The program promotes early literacy skills with letter sounds & recognition, activities & stories. Each week children will receive a free book & parents will have learned activities to reinforce reading skills at home. Registration is limited & is required.

The Really Free Market is a free bi-monthly distribution of food, personal care items, and household supplies. You can take as much as you want and we will never ask you to “prove” your need.
