An all ages chess club for beginners and experts. Meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. in the library's Periodicals Room. Beginners will get a lesson on the basics of chess and experts can meet and play!

From 4-7 PM volunteers with Healing Cortland and Healing Hearts Collaborative will be on site to share information about work being done in the community and to listen and support anyone who is interested in sharing their story. A program for emergent readers ages 4 – 7 yrs. & their caregivers. The program promotes early literacy skills with letter sounds & recognition, activities & stories. Each week children will receive a free book & parents will have learned activities to reinforce reading skills at home. Registration is required.

Why work alone when you can work with others? Knitting, crocheting, sewing - bring whatever it is you are working on! Open to all skill levels (ages 12 and up). The group meets every Monday evening at 6 p.m.
Meet and discuss a different chapter book on Zoom. Registrants will receive a free copy of the book each month. Meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday. Open to all 5th graders in Cortland County. Zoom meeting not mandatory to participate but is encouraged. Registration is limited and is required.
Claudia Hitt, Horticulture Program Educator from Cornell Cooperative Extension, will discuss planning & planting a garden with seeds or transplants, companion planting, saving seeds and edible flowers. Claudia will also answer gardening questions! Registration is not required, but is encouraged!
